What data sources does StreetScore use?

StreetScore pulls from FBI crime data, FEMA flood maps, EPA air quality and environmental justice indexes, USGS earthquake data, USFS wildfire risk, FCC broadband coverage, USDA food access data, Walk Score, and the US Census Bureau (ACS). All data is sourced from public government datasets.

How often is the data updated?

Data is fetched live when a report is generated and cached for up to 24 hours. Underlying government datasets are updated on their own schedules — typically annually for Census and FBI data, and more frequently for real-time sources like EPA air quality.
